FOLIA, designed by CB Design Lab for Forman, is a stackable plastic chair characterised by sinuous, fluid lines. The project is defined by a continuous formal sign that integrates the shell and supporting structure, achieving a synthesis between structural necessity and ergonomic comfort. The backrest section—defined by a wide-radius curvature—evolves laterally without interruption to generate the armrests, resolving the transition between components into a single, coherent volume. The geometry has been optimized to provide natural postural support, maintaining a formal purity suitable for both high-traffic contract environments and residential spaces.
