NALINI, designed by CB Design Lab for Artis, is a seating system characterised by large, soft volumes that conceal an integrated reclining mechanism. Available in both sofa and armchair versions, the design is based on a rhythmic modularity of the upholstery: the division into oversized cushions serves to emphasise the depth of the seat, while accommodating the adjustable footrest and headrest. By incorporating complex mechanical components within its soft forms, NALINI achieves a formal sobriety that balances ergonomic functionality with an inviting and welcoming silhouette.
